Join the Central Coast Veterans Memorial Museum (CCVMM) for our next Speaker Series with former San Luis Obispo County Supervisor, David Blakely, who will present on the changes and implementation of the air war strategy during the early part of American bomber involvement in WWII.

David’s father, Lt. Col. Everett Blakely, was an early B-17 pilot in World War II. This presentation will focus on the 100th Bomb Group (The Bloody Hundredth) and the missions flown by Lt. Col. Blakely to explain the early bomber strategy
