Presentation with Local Author, Jim Gregory “Central Coast Aviators in WWII”

Join us for a Night At the Museum on Tuesday, 4/27 with Local Author, Jim Gregory sharing stories from his book, “Central Coast Aviators in WWII.”
This event will take place in the museum:
- 4:00 pm – Doors Open for museum tours
- 5:15 pm – CCVMM Introduction
- 5:30 pm – Presentation Begins (~30 min)

Jim Gregory taught history for thirty years at Mission Prep and at his alma mater, Arroyo Grande High School. He was Lucia Mar’s Teacher of the Year in 2010, is a Cuesta College Honored Alumnus and a recipient of the History Center of San Luis Obispo County’s Preservation Award for his scholarship. He is the author of five books on county history: “World War II Arroyo Grande,” “Patriot Graves,” “San Luis Obispo County Outlaws,” “Central Coast Aviators in World War II,” and “Will This Be on the Test?”
The last week of April has been designated as SLO County WWII Commemoration Week, co-hosted by History Center SLO and South County Historical Society with participating organizations, such as ours.
