Veterans Day Community Celebration with 10:30am Ceremony and Community Lunch

Join the Central Coast Veterans Museum for their Annual Veterans Day Celebration in San Luis Obispo on November 11th!

At 10:30 a.m. a Veterans Day Ceremony will take place in San Luis Obispo at 801 Grand Avenue hosted by the Central Coast Veterans Memorial Museum (CCVMM) with American Legion Post #66, featuring the Central Coast Vietnam Veterans of America (CCVVA), Chapter #982.

Following the ceremony a Veterans Day Community Celebration commences with a BBQ tri-tip community lunch served by American Legion Post #66 at 11:30 a.m. free to veterans, their families and attendees. A bounce house, kids craft table, and Vitalant blood drive will be included. Pre-registration for the Vitalant Blood Drive is requested through their website www.vitalant.org.

Free museum tours at the Veterans Museum are available the full duration of the event from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A special exhibit talk onsite in the museum honoring Central Coast Vietnam Veterans, co-curated by the CCVVA, Chapter #982 will begin at 12:30 p.m. and repeated at 1:30 p.m.
